Some dog park etiquette:
- Observe any rules the dog park you’re visiting has put in place.
- Leash your dog unless you are in a designated off-leash area.
- Before playing in off-leash areas, ensure your dog is trained to have reliable recall and will return to you when called.
- Always keep watch and ensure you remain in effective control of your dog.
- Ensure your dog does not go in or near playgrounds.
- Pick up after you dog and dispose of waste thoughtfully.
- Learn about dog body language so you can properly understand behaviour and interactions.

Bayside Council Dog Parks

North Sydney Council is a dog friendly council and dogs are allowed off-leash in almost every park in the area. The parks where dogs are not allowed off-leash in the North Sydney Council area are bushland areas, sportsgrounds during organised sport, St Leonards Oval, Cremorne Reserve, Clark Park, Ancrum St Park, and the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability.
